Seeking Solace (The Quest)

Otters are shy and mischievous. Their presence seems so elusive and too fleeting to catch a proper glimpse. To me, otters have come to symbolise absent friends and family. The idea of them provides solace and makes me smile. The fabric and threads that surround figures in many of my artworks represent their thoughts and feelings. So the otters shelter in the fabric.

The artwork is painted in high quality oil paints on a stretched canvas. The sides of the canvas are painted and it comes with appropriate hanging fixings ready to hang straight onto your wall. A coat of varnish has been applied to protect the painted surface. The work is signed on the front. A catalogued certificate of authenticity is attached to the back. My artworks are carefully packaging and sent via a tracked courier, insured to the value of the artwork.
